Wu Chao

Born in 1977;

2000 Graduate from Si Chuan Academy of Fine Arts;

2007 Master degree of visual art, Ecole National Superieur d’art de Nancy, France;

2011 Create Animation “Chasing”;

Currently teaching as professor at Art College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; Focus on the research of digital art, experimental animation art, and video installation.

1. Recommended by the 8th Vienna Independent Short Film Festival to telecast on Okto cable, Vienna, Austria;

2. Nomination of the Best Animation and screened at the Mobile SIFF of the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival (short film-competition);

3. Golden Cartoon Award, Best China Short Film, The 8th China (Changzhou) International Animation Art Festival;

4. Forum Foundation Award, China Independent Animation Film Forum; screened at UCCA, Iberia Center for Contemporary Art
