"Get moving" exhibition will hold an opening party at 5 p.m. on 17th July 2010 (Saturday) at Li-Space, Red No.1-F Caochangdi,Beijing. “Shake in Out” aims to reflect the unique/distinct thinking and worldview of new prominent artists; it also exhibits their extremely innovative creation and vital pieces of art. These Generation-Y artists are full of lively and vivid creation. As they are born to embrace the diverse information endowed by the society, these young artists integrate their own sights towards the world to present multifarious work of art, providing the public various thinking and creative construction.
“Shake in Out” explores the themes of energy and vitality diversely and comprehensively by means of visual art such as sculpture, installation, painting and video. Audience will have further understanding of the strong creative motivation and ability of these young contemporary artists from each piece of art in various morphology, methods and context. Meanwhile this exhibition will alternate audience from passive appreciation to proactive enjoyment towards to contemporary art, which drives Chinese contemporary art to develop more energetically and vitally.
“Shake in Out” is the integrated language of young artists. These latest work of art might not be wonderfully perfect, it might merely be the evolution or degradation of ideology; nevertheless, to act or to be still is, altogether, the key point, the attitude of all the young artists and the conception that Li-Space delicately delivers to the state of Chinese contemporary art
